Distribution Process

Here's a glimpse into how we distribute our stoves

While we’re proud of our manufacturing process, we’re prouder of our distribution network. Our distribution network runs on our proprietary technology and is supported by our spirit of collaboration, with which we leverage the power of local communities.

Packaged stoves are sent to warehouses across our areas of operation. These warehouses also undertake servicing and warranty support requests.

In villages where we have a presence, the Grameen Sahayak shows product demos and captures sales. She/he goes out into the village, shows demos of the product and captures orders for the stove. Orders are captured in the Greenway mobile application.

All captured orders are automatically transmitted to the nearest warehouse via our proprietary tech stack. The warehouse dispatches the product.

Products are prepared for dispatch while our backend logistics map out the most climate-friendly delivery route.

The Grameen Sahayak receives and distributes the stoves. The unique QR code on the packaging is scanned by our app for customer details before the stove is handed over to the customer.

Today, our robust supply chain and distribution network covers most of the country. Till date, we’ve worked with more than 300 partners including micro-finance institutions, banks, producer group companies and other NGOs.

Greenway is a brand of 250+ people, with thousands more indirectly associated with us. And across a decade of operations, we’ve sold almost 2 Million cookstoves, improving countless lives. By 2030, we aspire to reach 30 million rural households.
